MGM Studio of the Dance is having classes on Monday July 31st and Tuesday August 1st. These days are to make up for July 3rd and 4th that we were closed for the Fourth of July. Please let Ms. Christy know if your student will not be attending classes those days. We may need to combine or change the time of some classes so that students or teachers don't have to come in unnecessarily. Please email her at or text her at 316-312-5670. If you choose to text please let me know your students name and the class they will be attending. Thank You

Studio Recommendations

Some of you have asked for recommendations and I have provided a list below:

For the students of MGM Studio of the Dance, Wichita Children's Theater and Dance Center at 201 S. Lulu Wichita KS 67211 (316)262-2282 would like to invite all MGM students to enroll and dance with them in the month of September free of charge. At the end of that month, they could decide if they would like to continue
For those that are in the College Hill area or close to the downtown area this is a wonderful place to dance or get your student involved in theater.

Our ballet teacher, Emily Green and her family are very involved there in the theater program and love it there so I would encourage you to take advantage of this great offer and check it out!

I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us and allowing MGM’s wonderful instructors teach them the beautiful art of dance. We will miss every one of our students and their families!

MGM Studio of the Dance has been a part of the Wichita community for over 25 years first and mostly by a very wonderful and caring lady, Miss Mary Mayta. I had hoped to keep her legacy alive and for three years I tried my hardest but unfortunately things don’t always go as planned.

We have some wonderful memories and have had some outstanding students and families come through our doors and become part of our MGM family! Thank you for the memories and I hope you all take those wonderful memories with you!

I hope all our students continue to dance somewhere and I hope they all-

“Dance Like Miss Mary’s Watching!”
